Tractor spreaders are how we get dry fertilizer and soil amendments into standing crops. Almond and walnut orchards, pistachios, citrus, vineyards, kiwis and tomato beds: the compact profile is the point. We work trellis and overhead rows, and bed ground, that a truck or a full-size spreader has to drive around.

Vineyard rows and trellised blocks are where a lot of spreaders give up. Ours are sized to fit down the row, under the canopy and between the stakes, so material lands in the row where the roots are instead of being thrown at the block from the avenue. The same goes for kiwi on overhead trellis and for tomato beds, where the job is to place material on the bed without running over it.
Banding, side discharge and broadcast of any dry material. Banding puts fertilizer in a strip down the tree or vine row where the roots can use it. Side discharge reaches under the canopy without driving on the berm. Broadcast covers the whole floor when the whole floor needs it, as with gypsum or compost across an orchard.
Your material goes out at the rate you specify, placed the way you want it, and our crews leave a clean drop site behind them.
The most expensive ton of material is the one you did not need. Most of our tractor spreader work follows a targeted plant nutrition program: GPS-guided soil sampling, a plan written block by block, then application at the rate the plan calls for. Spreading is the last step, and it only pays if the first two were right.

We sell the gypsum, limestone, sulfur, compost and dry blends as well as spreading them, so one quote covers the material and the application, and the rate on the plan is the rate that reaches the ground.
