Custom Spreader Trucks

Open ground, at volume, without losing the placement.

Spreader trucks are for open ground. A fertilizer spreader truck carries far more material per load than a tractor rig, which is what makes large acreage practical, and it places that material accurately enough that volume does not cost you precision. If you need a custom spreader for gypsum, lime, compost or a dry blend on open ground anywhere from Bakersfield to Madera, this is the work these trucks do.

What our spreader trucks do

Any job where the acreage or the tonnage would have a tractor spreader running all week. They are not limited to wide-open ground either; they can work tighter areas when the job calls for it.

Materials we spread

Pre-plant is the cheapest time to fix a field

Open ground is the best chance you get to correct a block before it is planted. Once trees or vines go in, every pass afterward has to fit between the rows. Before planting, gypsum, lime, sulfur or compost can go on across the whole field at the rate the soil test calls for. Our trucks handle the open ground broadcast and pre-plant row work, and the tractor spreaders take over once the crop is in.

Applied at the rate you specify

The most expensive ton of material is the one you did not need. That cuts both ways: too little and the field stays short, too much and you paid for material the ground could not use. We spread at the rate you specify, keep it even across the field, and leave a clean drop site behind us.

Where we work

Custom spreading runs Bakersfield to Madera, throughout the Central Valley: Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno and Madera counties. We are based in Hanford, in Kings County.

Material too, if you want it

We sell the gypsum, limestone, sulfur, compost and dry blends as well as spreading them, so one quote covers the material and the application, and the rate on the plan is the rate that reaches the ground.

Questions we get

Spreader truck or tractor spreader?

Trucks for open ground, pre-plant and large tonnage. Tractor spreaders for standing crops: orchards, vineyards, kiwis and tomato beds, where the rows are too tight for a truck. If you are not sure, describe the job and we will tell you which fits.

Will you spread material I already bought?

Yes. We spread your material at your rate, or we can quote the material and the application together.

Do you spread compost and woodchips?

Yes, both, along with gypsum, lime, sulfur and dry fertilizer blends.

How do I get a quote?

Call (559) 816-3889 or send us the job: the material, the rate or tonnage, the acreage, and where the field is. Bring your soil report if you have one.
